AboutCOVID-19?

Coronavirus disease 2019 (also referred to as COVID 19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). It has been declared to be a pandemic by the WHO as it has spread rapidly throughout the entire world.
Omicron variant:
The Omicron variant spreads more easily than the original virus that causes COVID-19 and the Delta variant. CDC expects that anyone with Omicron infection can spread the virus to others, even if they are vaccinated or don’t have.

Symptoms:
Persons infected with the Omicron variant can present with symptoms similar to previous variants. The presence and severity of symptoms can be affected by COVID-19 vaccination status, the presence of other health conditions, age, and history of prior infection.

Symptoms include:
• Fever
• Cough
• Fatigue
• Shortness of breath or breathing difficulties,
• And loss of smell and taste

Wearing a Mask:
Well-fitting masks offer protection against all variants and Face masks can help slow the spread of coronavirus
Taking Vaccination:
Getting vaccinated and staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccines is the best way to protect yourself and others against the CORONA
Frequent hand washing:
Regular handwashing is one of the best ways to protect from COVID-19, remove germs, avoid getting sick, and prevent the spread of germs to others. Whether you are at home, at work, traveling, or out in the community.

Social / Physical distancing
Physical distancing helps limit the spread of COVID-19 – this means we keep a distance of at least 1m from each other and avoid spending time in crowded places or in groups.

Quarantine:
Self-Quarantine or self-Isolation are important to limit coronavirus,Isolation and quarantine help protect the public by preventing exposure to people who have or may have a COVID-19.

Personal hygiene:
Simple hygiene measures can help protect your family’s health and everyone else’s.
– Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
– Don’t touch your face
– Don’t cough or sneeze into your hands
– Cover your mouth and nose with your elbow or tissue when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of used tissue immediately.

  • We understand the importance of having a comprehensive infection prevention and control COVID-19 response. As part of our Outbreak Prevention Program, we have ensured that:
  • Recommend our staff to take vaccine
  • There is an infection control lead at our facility
  • Our Staff are well trained and can demonstrate competency in infection prevention and control, particularly in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Possess sufficient stocks of PPE on site
  • Have a robust process for screening all staff and visitors on entry to the facility.
